As a team member you will be part of a production team that works on a wide array of product types, specializing in customized designs and finishes, always striving for the highest standard of quality.
Role:
The assistant production supervisor role is responsible for complete operation and supervision of various department, including the direction of personnel and completion of activities within assigned areas.
Associates are expected to represent the company professionally and enthusiastically to all customers, both internally and externally.
Essential Functions:
- Accurately complete manufacturing orders which includes visually inspecting all parts for conforming to quality standards
- Operate fabrication equipment to produce parts to required specifications
- Using hand and power tools
- Perform quality checks using measuring devices such as digital calipers and tape measures
- Train other associates as needed in inspection and related duties
- Direct and train employees to meet production schedule
- Inspect, estimate, and request materials
- Work to maximize efficiency and reduce costs
- Make recommendations for continuous improvement
- Must be available to work different shifts if needed
- Must be able to work overtime as needed

Qualifications:
- 5 years woodworking experience in a custom cabinet shop, furniture production or similar setting
- Basic computer skills – ability to use Microsoft Windows, Word and Excel
- Ability to follow written instructions
- Ability to multi task, remain organized, problem solve, and prioritize daily responsibilities
- Ability to effectively communicate; both verbal and written
Schedule: 7:30 am – 6:00 pm — Monday-Thursday
Overtime hours are expected as production schedules fluctuate to meet project deadlines.
Salary:
Starting pay is based on experience and current job qualifications.
